Your customer calls. They want an appointment. Sophia gives them one.
Workshop, tyres, test drive, trade-in, accident claim: Sophia answers every call and every listing enquiry by email, even on a Saturday evening, books it into the right calendar and turns each workshop appointment into a sales opportunity. Built by former car salespeople for dealerships, garages and body shops.
To find out more, your customers have your website, the listings, email. The one who calls wants a service, a test drive, a trade-in price or a body-repair quote, now. And they book with whoever answers first.

Born in a dealership, not an incubator
We sold cars before we built Sophia.
On the showroom floor, at handovers, on the phone with fleet managers: our co-founder knows a salesperson’s day because he has lived it. Every Sophia scenario starts from a real situation, not a slide deck.
Kardanos was born in the motor trade: three co-founders, thirty years of experience in the field, in the showroom and in the workshop.
Out on a test drive with a customer, the phone buzzes in your pocket. You don’t answer.
Sophia picks up, qualifies the caller and books the appointment in your calendar.
The Friday-evening web lead, called back on Monday. They’ve signed elsewhere.
Sophia calls back within two minutes, evenings and weekends included.
The workshop customer you never see in the showroom.
Sophia offers a test drive during the service, once, without pushing.
The fleet manager waiting to hear back about their renewals.
Sophia takes the request and briefs the fleet salesperson before the callback.
The CRM filled in at night, when you remember.
Every call lands in your CRM already summarised, with no re-keying.

Three trades, three ways to answer
Every automotive trade has its own calls. Sophia knows yours.
The same foundations, with scenarios written for each business. Here is what your customers ask for, and what Sophia does with it.
Franchised dealership
Workshop, new cars, used cars, parts: a switchboard that rings all day, and customers ready to buy who end up in voicemail. Sophia routes every call to the right department, and makes the workshop a way into the showroom.
The calls she takes
Servicing and maintenanceTest drive of a new modelUsed-car availabilityTrade-in priceLeasing and financeManufacturer recall
Her professional reflexes
1
The right department, first time.
Workshop, new cars, used cars or parts: she routes the call and books it in the right person’s calendar, with the call summary.
2
The workshop that fills the showroom.
For any job over an hour, she offers a test drive of the new model instead of a courtesy car, or ten minutes with a salesperson.
3
Trade-ins qualified before the valuation.
Model, year, mileage, condition: the used-car manager gets a complete record, never just a “call me back”.
The opportunity she createsA customer booked in for a service lets slip “I’m thinking of changing next year”: Sophia offers ten minutes with a salesperson and a valuation of their trade-in while they wait.
Moreau Automobiles · serviceCall excerpt
SophiaThank you, Mr Weber, I’ve found you: a 2020 Clio, last serviced a year ago. The sixty-thousand service takes about an hour and a half. I have Friday at 9 am, or Tuesday at 2 pm.
CustomerFriday at 9. I’ll wait on site.
SophiaThat’s booked. Since you’ll be waiting, Julien, our adviser, will get you a coffee. The new Clio hybrid has just arrived: you can take a look, and try it out if you like.
CustomerWhy not… I was actually wondering whether to change.
SophiaGood timing: Julien can also value your Clio for a trade-in. I’ll let him know for 9.15.

Garage and franchise agent
When you’re under the bonnet, you don’t answer. The customer who gets your voicemail calls the garage down the road. Sophia takes the call, knows your services and lets you get on with the job.

Her professional reflexes
1
Stored tyres, checked before the slot.
In season, she finds the customer’s set and its condition, and books the fitting with the right workshop time.
2
Never a diagnosis, always caution.
Brakes, smoke, a red warning light: she advises against driving and offers towing. The mechanic decides, not the AI.
3
Quotes no longer gather dust.
A quote not approved for ten days? She calls the customer back, answers their questions and books the job.
The opportunity she createsA customer in Luxembourg who calls in Portuguese, German or Luxembourgish: Sophia answers in their language, on the same number.
Garage Schmit · winter tyresCall excerpt
CustomerHello, I’d like to have my winter tyres put on.
SophiaOf course. What name is it under?
CustomerPaulo Ferreira.
SophiaThank you, Mr Ferreira. Your winter tyres are stored with us: 205/55 R16, still five millimetres of tread, good for the season. I have Thursday at 8 am or Saturday at 9.30 am. It takes about forty-five minutes.
CustomerSaturday, perfect.
SophiaThat’s booked. We’ll keep your summer tyres in storage in exchange. I’m sending you the confirmation by SMS.

Body shop
After a scrape, customers call several body shops and pick the first one that takes care of them. Sophia picks up, reassures, collects the right information and books the drop-off.

Her professional reflexes
1
The quote starts with photos.
She asks for photos of the damage by email and offers a drop-off slot: you price the job without losing a morning.
2
Insurance, without promising anything.
Insurer, claim number, date of the incident: she notes everything for the assessment, without ever commenting on cover or the excess.
3
The car that can’t be driven, taken in hand.
Car not driveable, airbag deployed, broken window: she advises against driving and arranges towing with your team.
The opportunity she createsA courtesy car offered on the very first call: the customer has no reason left to look elsewhere.
Carrosserie du Parc · minor collisionCall excerpt
CustomerGood evening, someone dented my door in a car park. Can you give me a quote?
SophiaOf course. Is the car driving normally? And have you reported it to your insurer?
CustomerYes, it drives. I filed the claim this afternoon.
SophiaVery good. Send us two or three photos of the door at the address I’m texting you: Marc prices jobs from photos. For the drop-off, I have Wednesday at 8 am, with a courtesy car while the work is done.
CustomerWednesday is perfect.
SophiaThat’s noted. Remember to bring the registration document and your insurance claim number. The confirmation is on its way by SMS.

Questions
What dealership directors and garage owners ask us.
Won’t offering a test drive at every workshop appointment annoy customers?
Sophia offers it once, as a service, at a moment when the customer has already planned to wait. If they decline, she notes it on their record and doesn’t push. You choose which customers, models and time slots it applies to.
Does she work with our DMS?
We connect Kardanos to your workshop calendars, DMS, CRM and used-car listing feeds, through their APIs or our automation workflows. You have nothing to develop. We check your software is compatible before go-live.
Does Sophia know our used-car stock?
Yes, as soon as she is connected to your stock or your listing feed: availability, mileage, price, options. Without a connection, she takes the request and passes it to the right salesperson.
Do we need to change our number?
No. Sophia is activated by call forwarding from your current line: with forwarding on no answer, your team always picks up first; with immediate forwarding, Sophia takes every call and transfers with the summary.
What about our manufacturer’s brand guidelines?
Sophia uses your greetings, your tone and your service commitments. We write the scenarios with you and you approve every answer before go-live.
We have several brands and several sites.
One number per site or a shared switchboard: Sophia routes by brand, site and department, and each team only sees what concerns it in Cockpit.
Will our salespeople accept her?
Sophia doesn’t sell in their place: she brings them qualified appointments and spares them the data entry. We designed her with the salespeople we used to be in mind.
What if the customer wants to speak to someone?
She transfers the call to the right department, which receives the summary before picking up. If nobody is available, she takes a message and creates the callback task.
